Funds are debited from your account straightaway and can be used immediately in the recipient's account.

SWIFT Funds Transfers

Our SWIFT Funds Transfer service is suitable if you want to transfer money to a country that is not part of our Citibank Global Transfers service, as money can be sent to most countries in most currencies.

SWIFT Funds Transfers usually clear within five working days, a fee is charged for each transfer and Citibank exchange rates may apply. For more detailed information on fees see our fees and important documents.

SEPA Funds Transfers – for London clients

Transfer money in Euros securely, easily and completely free of charge to any other Euro account within the Single European Payment Area.

Funds usually clear within three days and are available between over 30 European countries.

BACS Funds Transfers – for Jersey clients

Transfer money from your Jersey account to another UK account free of charge using a BACS Funds Transfer.

Funds usually clear in 3-4 working days and BACS transfers can be arranged using Citibank Online or via your Relationship Manager.

Transfer funds electronically within the UK on the same day with CHAPS Transfers.

Reoccurring Payments

If you need to set up a reoccurring payment, also known as a standing order, from your Cash Account, simply contact your Relationship Manager who will arrange this on your behalf, or login to online banking to setup the payment yourself.
